Sacramento Roofing Contractor Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource covering 348 roofing contractors serving Sacramento and the surrounding area. It exists for homeowners who want a straight, data-backed look at who does roofing work locally before they pick up the phone.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. Where the listing data comes from

Every business profile starts with public business data: name, address, phone, categories, hours, and similar facts. On top of that, we synthesize recent Google review activity into a plain-language summary of what people are saying. We do not republish review text. If you want to read the original reviews, we link out to the business’s Google listing so you can see them straight from the source.

How rankings work

Rankings are earned from a published rubric applied to the data, nothing else. We look at review volume, recency, how verified and complete a business profile is, and star rating, then score accordingly. The full breakdown of how each factor is weighted lives on our /methodology/ page, and it’s the same rubric for every one of the 348 businesses in this directory. No business, sponsored or not, can pay to move up the earned ranking.

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some pages carry sponsored placements. These are always labeled “Sponsored,” displayed separately from the earned ranking, and never mixed into the score or position a business holds on merit. If a listing is sponsored, you’ll know it at a glance, and you’ll still see where that business actually ranks on the data.

Correcting a listing

A business owner can request a correction to their own factual details, things like a phone number, service area, or hours. What they cannot do is edit their own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those stay tied to the data and the rubric, not to who asks.

This directory is published by Local Home Pros Guides, a publisher that has built city-specific home service directories since 2024. Unlike sites that let contractors pay their way to the top, Local Home Pros Guides ranks and cites businesses using data pulled from Google, the source most people already trust for reviews, weighing review volume, recency, verification, and completeness alongside star rating. Editorial oversight and the rankings you see here are maintained by Shoail, Content Lead. Data across all 348 listings is refreshed monthly, and the “last verified” stamp on each listing reflects that ongoing maintenance rather than a one-time snapshot.
